Shortcut to Booking Calendar

We are happy to offer Alpaca Experiences for individuals, families, or larger groups.

This activity includes hands-on meeting the male alpacas, learning about them and how to handle them;

then we spend about 90 minutes taking the alpacas for a walk in the Pentland Regional Park.
Be prepared to have your photograph taken by the walkers and cyclists that we meet on the way
- you are strolling in the countryside with local celebrities!
- you will have to smile a lot, but that won't be difficult as the Alpacas will cause you to smile, anyway!

On our return to the farm, you have the opportunity to hand feed the alpacas and visit the "Mums" (and their babies - depending on the date of your visit)

Groups with young children (10 years and under) should be aware that that we recommend that since they may experience difficulty in the handling of animals that exceed their height and weight, it will be more appropriate for them to share a lead rope with an adult.  This minimises the risk of any injury, while still enabling close contact.
